What is a second order derivative?
So far we have been looking the gradient function. We can say it is the rate of change of the function with respect to x. This is also known as the first order derivative. In terms of the second order derivative, we can obtain it by differentiating the original expression twice. So we can say that it is the rate of the change of the gradient function.
